1. What were you doing 10 years ago?
Lessee, I would've been 22.  If memory serves, I would've just graduated college with degrees in French and Philosophy & Religion, and minors in Ceramics and International Studies--yeah, so employable there.  I would've been heading off for grad school in the fall.  That summer, I worked as a housekeeper at a shitty little hotel in the shitty little town in which I went to college.  Brian was living in a reenactment of the MTV show "The Real World" down in Columbia, MO, 1.5 hours away, and I saw him occasionally. 

2. What 5 things are on you to-do list for today?
Well, my "to-do" list got blown out of the water today, so I'll give you two versions (1) what should've happened, and (2) what is/did happen:

(1)
1.  Get up at 7am, finish prepping for Farmer's Market.
2.  Spend all morning at the Farmer's Market hyping the co-op.
3.  Tear-down Market, head home.
4.  Work on pantry.
5.  Fix dinner.

(2)
1.  Got up at 6am to find husband back awake and reading more D&D.
2.  Took phonecall at 6:30a about Market cancellation and state of emergency.
3.  Took 18 more phonecalls about SOE and Market.
4.  Unearthed kitchen.
5.  Avoided pantry.

Jedimomma's Journal: household management through use of the Force.  Actually, there's a story here.  When I was in driver's ed in high school, I was teamed with my best friend Jill and two other people during lessons.  One of them just fundamentally did not grok how to operate a car.  It was somewhere between funny and scary, and yet somehow managed to be an overall an effective way to drive.  Finally, Jill leaned forward one day and asked "Hey!  Are you driving with your eyes open, or are you, like, using The Force?"  That seems to pretty well describe my household management style.

You can give your friend's page a separate title?  Huh, who knew?
