JediMomma was born and raised in a small town on the outskirts of St. Louis, MO. She has a bachelor's degree in French and Philosophy & Religion, and a Master's in Philosophy. She lived in Seattle for a time, pursuing her Ph.D in Philosophy, but life intervened. She is married to her college boyfriend, who is also a philosopher. She has been a waitress, childcare provider, housekeeper, office assistant, teaching assistant, computer tech support person, and line chef. She is now a stay-at-home mom, an amateur gardener, an overenthusiastic home cook, an armchair policy theorist, a birth activist, a backseat philosopher for her husband, a defacto-director of Religious Education at a UU church, and a semi-rabid proponent of sustainable living with a penchant for permaculture.
